Potluck & Pep Rally | Pasta Night

Potluck Dinner (6:00pm) and Pep Rally (7:00pm) Get ready to carb-load Hurricanes; it’s pasta night! Feel free to also bring a tablecloth and your drink of choice. The swim team will take care of the paper plates, utensils, and lemonade for everyone. Let’s enjoy some delicious food, catch up with old friends, and welcome new ones! FOOD ASSIGNMENTS BY LAST NAME: A – G : Pasta (baked pasta dish, or plain pasta with sauce) H – M : Salad (green salad, fruit salad, etc.) N – Z: Bread & Dessert (rolls, garlic bread, etc.) Our 13+ swimmers are going to lead the Pep Rally! They’ll teach the younger swimmers the cheers and help get everyone pumped up for our first Home Meet. We will also introduce our Little Fins to their Big Fins, so we hope all our Hurricane families can make it! |

Team Picture & Swimsuit Sale

Come for the swimsuits, stay for the picture (and practice, of course)! We’ll end 9-12 practice a few minutes early, snap a team picture at 6 pm, and then get the 8+ Under practice rolling ASAP. SportFair will set up shop on the Middle Deck from 4-7pm, where you can try on and purchase a team suit right at HRA.
Swimsuit Swap: If your child has outgrown their team suit but still has some life in it, bring it to hand down to another swim team family. Find a team rep on the Middle Deck for the “swimsuit swap” before you hit the “swimsuit sale.” If you are unsure if your child will need a team suit, either because they will only be swimming in B meets or because you’re uncertain if they will be in A meets, buy a plain black suit. SwimOutlet.com has a great selection of athletic swimsuits. |
