Hello Hurricanes!

What a Wednesday, Hurricanes! Congrats to our All-Star Relay teams for representing HRA in the morning, and to the whole team for bringing home the trophy at IM Carnival that evening!

Our final ‘A’ meet is this Saturday at Rolling Forest! We also have our final Potluck & Pep Rally of the season. While we're sad to see summer swim season winding down, the season isn't over yet. We still have some exciting events, so read carefully!

Highlights & Reminders

• Divisionals & RSVP - Please RSVP by Saturday at 5p. The coaches will select the swimmers based on times and swimmer preference (please note swimmer preference in the notes when you RSVP), but there are also opportunities to “bid in” additional swimmers. We can only consider swimmers who RSVPed.
• End of Season Banquet - Purchase your tickets by July 20, fill a volunteer position, and sign up for a relay HERE!
• Got epic action shots, goofy post-meet smiles, or team spirit photos from this week? Text your best shots to 571-422-6147. Our amazing Instagram Parent is ready to make our swimmers social media famous!

Away 'A' Meet | Saturday, July 18, 9:00a

The theme is Minions!

• Official meet sheet will be posted in event details on the team website (and attached) — you'll see your swimmer's events in SwimTopia by Friday
• Please review the meet sheet carefully for your swimmer(s) name(s). We have some swim-ups for this meet so that you may find your swimmer(s) in an older age group.
• We will have exhibition relays again this week!
• Event order: Freestyle → Backstroke → Breaststroke → Butterfly → Relays
• Swimmers hang out in the team area, cheering on teammates, and coaches will direct them to the Clerk of Course benches when it's time for them to swim.

SWIMMER AND VOLUNTEER TIMING

• 8:05a: Swimmers arrive; HRA warm-ups begin at 8:25a
• 8:25a: Marshal in place for warm-ups
• 8:30a: Officials and Timers arrive and ready for briefings
• 9:00a: Meet begins

PARKING

The parking lot is small, but there is also parking available throughout the adjacent neighborhood on the streets. Please be mindful not to block driveways. Do not park in the townhouse subdivision, you will be towed.

TEAM AND SPECTATOR AREAS

Our team area is on the deck by the shallow end of the pool. We will have a limited number of chairs and loungers. It will get sunny, so we will bring canopies.

Remember, no caps with logos other than HRA, and no tie-back suits!

Deck officials wear the NVSL dress code of white tops and navy (dark) bottoms, no denim.

CONCESSIONS

They will be running a full concession stand accepting Venmo and cash.
