Another fantastic Saturday in the books! Our swimmers brought incredible energy to the pool today, capturing a thrilling victory against Hayfield to keep our undefeated streak alive! Final Score: HRA 226, Hayfield 194

A massive congratulations to Olive Dunn, who shattered her own team record in the backstroke with a blazing fast time of 29.13!

Our swimmers showed phenomenal sportsmanship and were incredible teammates today! They kept our team area clean, remained respectful to the opposing swimmers, and never stopped cheering each other on. We are incredibly proud of them!

This meet would not have been possible without our amazing volunteer crew. A very special shoutout to those who showed up Friday night and got a massive head start on setting up the pool. THANK YOU!

'B' Meet @ Burke Station | Monday, June 29, 6p

We are headed to Burke Station on Monday for the next B-meet. Monday evening, “B Meets” are developmental meets, and all Hurricanes are encouraged to participate.

We're still waiting to hear whether kickboard races are happening, and we'll update you as soon as we know. In the meantime, there's no need to sign up for them—we've got it covered, so there's nothing you need to do.

SIGN UP

• Swimmers can choose two individual events + IM.
• Important Note: If a swimmer placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in an event at the Saturday “A” meet, they cannot swim that stroke at the “B” meet.
• Signup Deadline: Monday at 12p (noon)
• Visit the Signup Calendar to sign up your swimmer and volunteer. Need help? Refer to the ‘B’ Meet Instructions under the Resources tab on the team site.

SWIMMER AND VOLUNTEER TIMING

• 5:00p: Swimmers arrive; HRA warm-ups begin at 5:20p
• 5:15p: Coaches, Marshals, Stroke/Turn Judges, Timers ready to meet with Referee for briefings
• 6:00p: Meet begins

Burke Station is known for their post-meet dancing - they would love it if our swimmers joined in the fun and have a quick dance on the pool deck near the slide.

PARKING
Parking is limited. Overflow parking is available in the neighborhood and at the VRE Station across Rolling Road. If parking in the VRE lot, please be careful crossing Rolling Road. If parking in the neighborhood, please respect all signs and driveways.

TEAM + SPECTATOR INFORMATION
We have the roped-off grassy area next to the kiddie pool. There will be a decent amount of shade in that section for most of the meet, but bring bug spray, water, etc. Bring your own chair for swimmers and spectators!

WHAT TO WEAR
Please refer to the FAQs page on the website to see details on what to wear and bring to the meet.

COME HUNGRY!
Open and serving the usual fare, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, traveling tacos, various drinks, carnival-style popcorn, chips, snow cones, candy, etc. They accept cash and credit, so come hungry!
