Winter Swim Registration is OPEN!

Winter swim registration is now open! Here's the information again in case you missed it. We can only accept 30 swimmers, so be sure to register now to secure your spot!

The program is open to all active members of Holmes Run Pool, ages 5-10 and will focus on stroke technique, mastering flip-turns and starts, and maintaining endurance. A group of Junior Coaches will assist our Head Coach, Jared Miller, who will work through a curriculum of basics to build confidence. The program does not include swim meets.

IMPORTANT:

Your child must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted (any stroke) at minimum, a requirement of the County RECenters and spelled out in our lane rental contract.
Since there are limited spaces available—and we will likely turn families away after we are full—we ask that you ONLY sign up if you are sure you will participate in the program.

When and Where?

Providence RECenter on Sundays from 6-7 pm from September 7, 2025, to May 17, 2025. There will be NO practice on: 11/30, 12/28, 1/4, and 4/5. If the RECenter is closed due to weather conditions, we will communicate that to you ASAP.

How Much?

$360 per swimmer for 33 sessions. There is no multi-swimmer discount available for winter swim like there is for the summer swim program. The expenses of lane rentals and coaches increase yearly, and we are trying to keep registration fees low—this is a “break-even” program for the Hurricanes.
