Hurricane Wins, Records & Fun!
Hello Hurricanes!
What a nail-biter! We wrapped up the final A meet with a 213–207 win over Brookfield, full of exciting races and lots of personal bests. This victory finishes our season with a solid 3–2 record.
📣 A special shoutout to Olive Dunn for breaking the HRA team record in the 13–14 Girls 50M Backstroke with an incredible time of 31.51—way to go, Olive!

The Woodley Mini Meet was a huge success, filled with strong swims and big smiles. It was wonderful to see so many Hurricanes and Tropical Storms in the water. Congratulations to all our youngest swimmers—they did an amazing job! And a big thank-you to the volunteers who helped make it happen.
Congrats to Grace Beck for setting a new meet record in the 10-Year-Old Girls 50M Backstroke! Fantastic job, Grace!
A huge thank-you to all the amazing volunteers who put together two fantastic events for our 13+ swimmers this week: the progressive dinner and the lock-in! Thanks to you, our older swimmers made wonderful memories and had an unforgettable time together!
Practice Schedule This Week
Practices next week are only for swimmers participating in Divisionals.
- 13 & Over: 8:00-9:00a
- 12 & Under: 9:00-10:00a
Due to the bid-in process, final Divisional selections won’t be confirmed until Tuesday night. If your swimmer participated in most A meets this season in their age group, they should plan to attend practice tomorrow.
We’ll also have a final Tropical Storms practice on Tuesday evening at 6:30p.
We hope to see everyone at the End-of-Season Banquet on Saturday evening!
