As we head into Divisionals week, here are two important reminders:

Divisionals Availability – Due Saturday at 5 PM

If your swimmer(s) are available to participate in Divisionals, please RSVP by Saturday at 5 PM. Even if you're unsure your swimmer will be chosen, please RSVP. This helps us with the bid-in process (see below).

Divisionals – How Swimmers Are Chosen

• Divisionals is an end-of-season meet where the division’s top swimmers compete in individual events.
• Each team may enter up to two swimmers per event.
• Swimmers are selected based on their best legal times from the season.
• Coaches also consider each swimmer’s preference and availability when making selections.
• Each swimmer may be entered in up to two individual events.
• After entries are submitted, any open lanes are identified and filled through a bid-in process: Swimmers not originally selected may still be entered based on their times.
• Because of this bid-in process, it’s important to RSVP even if you’re unsure whether your swimmer will be selected—they could still get a chance to compete!

Practice Schedule – Divisionals Week

Next week’s practices are only for swimmers participating in Divisionals:

• 13 & Over: 8–9 AM
• 12 & Under: 9–10 AM

Because of the bid-in process, final Divisional selections won’t be confirmed until late Tuesday night. Swimmers who participated in the majority of A meets this season in their age group should plan to attend practice this week in case they are selected.

We’ll also have one last Tropical Storms practice on Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
