Hello Hurricanes!

The IM Carnival will be held at Burke Station this week. Swimmers must have a valid (legal) time from this season in their event to participate.

Please RSVP and sign-up to volunteer no later than 10a, July 8!

Swimmer and Volunteer Timing

• 5:30p: Swimmers arrive; HRA warm-ups begin at 5:50p
• 5:50p: Marshal in place for warmups
• 6:00p: Deck official and timers arrive ready for briefings
• 6:30p: Meet begins

Team and Spectator Areas
Our team will have the grassy area & wooded/mulch. There will be a decent amount of shade in that section for much of the meet. We cannot place any of the pool chairs/loungers in the grassy area, so make sure to bring a chair 🪑 (and bug spray!).

Spectators are welcome inside the pool gate on the upper deck of the pool.

Parking
Parking is limited. Overflow parking can be found in the neighborhood and at the VRE Station across Rolling Road. If parking in the VRE lot, please be careful crossing Rolling Road. If parking in the neighborhood, please respect all signs and driveways.

What to Wear

Come Hungry!
Burke Station will have the usual breakfast and lunch fare, such as breakfast burritos, bagels, muffins, hamburgers, hot dogs, traveling tacos, various drinks, carnival-style popcorn, chips, snow cones, candy, etc. They accept cash and credit/apple pay/google pay ($5.00 minimum), so come hungry!
