Hello Hurricanes!

What a meet, Hurricanes! We took the win against Rolling Forest, 230-190, with swimmers crushing their times, battling through nail-biting finishes, and even breaking a record—true superhero-level moves. The energy was contagious, and as we wrapped up, the sun decided to join our celebration. Definitely a win worth celebrating!

🎉 Huge congrats to Thomas Sites for breaking the HRA 15–18 Boys 50Y Butterfly record—again! Another incredible swim and another record in the books. Well done!

Big thanks to our incredible coaches and volunteers—the behind-the-scenes heroes who make every meet possible. Take a breather, recharge, and let’s gear up for the busy week ahead. Keep that energy going, team!

HOME 'B' Meet | Monday, June 30, 6p

Monday evening “B Meets” are developmental meets, and all Hurricanes are encouraged to participate.

Tropical Storms, we’ll be starting the night with a kickboard race at 6:00 PM sharp, before the first official event. No need to sign up—just be there and ready to go! Coaches and volunteer lane leaders will be in the water to help the little ones across as needed.

'B' Meet Sign Up:

• Swimmers can choose two individual events + IM.
• Important Note: If a swimmer placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in an event at the Saturday “A” meet, they cannot swim that stroke at the “B” meet.
• Signup Deadline: Monday at 12p (noon)
• Visit the Signup Calendar to sign up your swimmer and volunteer.Need help? Refer to the ‘B’ Meet Instructions under the Resources tab on the team site.

Swimmer and Volunteer Timing

• 4:15p: Setup crew arrives to setup
• 4:45p: Swimmers arrive; HRA warm-ups begin at 5:00p
• 4:50p: Coaches and Marshals ready to meet with Referee for a safety briefing
• 5:00p: Marshals in place for warm-ups
• 5:25p: Stroke/Turn Judges ready for briefing
• 5:35p: Timers ready for briefing
• 6:00p: Meet begins

Parking and Facilities
The parking lot is reserved for the visiting team and those who require close parking. Our team should walk to the pool or park on nearby streets (and please respect our neighbors) or at Woodburn Elementary School.

The upper pool, basketball, ping-pong/foosball, playground, baby pool, etc, are off-limits to all swim team members during the meet, even if they are done swimming. Swimmers and spectators are to use the restrooms in the Upper Pool House. The Lower Pool House restrooms are for the use of Officials only.

• NVSL Division 13 Relay Carnival is this Wednesday, July 2, at Rolling Forest. The swimmers will be announced, and the meet sheet will be shared on Monday.

• There will be NO potluck and pep rally this week for the 4th of July.
