A Meet #3 w/RF šŸ’¦ Info & Details

Hello Hurricanes!

Our next ā€˜A’ meet is this Saturday, and we will be hosting Rolling Forest.

POTLUCK & PEP RALLY | TACO NIGHT
Join us Friday at 6p to fuel up and get excited for the upcoming meet! Be sure to check the Potluck Event for your food assignments and all the details. Please remember to bring enough food to feed at least your family. We want to ensure everyone, including adults, can eat!

FRIDAY EVENING MEET SETUP
On Friday evening, after 8:50p, we can start prepping for Saturday morning—set up the Data Table and Announcer Station, arrange chairs and stanchions, prepare team areas with lounge chairs and benches for the Clerk of Course, etc.. We’ll keep in mind the members enjoying the Lower Pool, but we can get a head start.

Home 'A' Meet | Saturday, June 28, 9a
The meet sheet is ready to view, and can also be found on the Resources page of the team website

Please review the meet sheet carefully for your swimmer(s) name(s). We have swim-ups this meet so that you may find your swimmer(s) in an older age group. If your swimmer(s) weren’t selected to swim Saturday, we welcome you to come and cheer on the team!

The order of events will be freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and finishing with relays. Swimmers will cheer for their teammates from the team area, and coaches will direct them to the Clerk of Course benches when it’s time for their events.

The theme is šŸ¦øšŸ»ā™€ļø Superheroes!

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING
Please refer to the FAQs page on the website to see details on what to wear and bring to the meet.

Remember, no caps with logos other than HRA, and no tie-back suits! Let us know if you have a new swimmer, and we will bring them a cap to the meet.

PARKING AND FACILITIES
The parking lot is reserved for the visiting team and those who require close parking. Our team should walk to the pool or park on nearby streets (and please respect our neighbors) or at Woodburn Elementary School.

The upper pool, basketball, ping-pong/foosball, playground, baby pool, etc, are off-limits to all swim team members during the meet, even if they are done swimming. The baby pool is always closed during morning meets until the facilities open to members at 11 am.

Swimmers and spectators are to use the restrooms in the Upper Pool House. The Lower Pool House restrooms are for the use of Officials only.

COME HUNGRY!
The Hurricane CafƩ (our snack bar) will be serving breakfast foods, snacks, and beverages. The swim team receives all profits from concessions sales.

While you're there, don’t miss out on our custom Hurricanes Croc charms—just $5! Show your team spirit from head to toe and help fund the end-of-year banquet at the same time. Total win-win!
